About Karen Borga

Welcome. I’m Karen Borga, an artist on a lifelong creative journey. I work primarily with fiber, wool, and natural materials, creating pieces that are inspired by nature, texture, and the quiet process of making something by hand.

Creativity has always been a part of my life. Over the years I have explored many forms of art—from painting and graphic design to sewing, spinning, felting, and fiber art. Each medium has taught me something new, but fiber has become the place where everything comes together for me.

Along the way, I also created spiritual card designs and inspirational work that helped people connect with encouragement, creativity, and a sense of direction in their lives. That work will always be an important part of my journey, but today my focus is on creating art, handmade objects, and meaningful pieces through fiber and wool.

I believe art connects us to ourselves, to our stories, and to each other. My work is not about perfection or mass production, but about process, texture, creativity, and becoming.

My Creative Journey

Art is in my blood. I come from a long line of creative artists, many of whom were painters. My grandmother, a seamstress, passed down the craft of transforming old materials into something beautiful, while my mother taught me how to sew. I was gifted my first sewing machine at 13 and spent my youth creating, learning, and experimenting with various forms of art. I even had private oil painting lessons while others were out playing sports.

My path led me to study advertising and fiber art in college, and now, fiber art is the heart of my creativity. It allows me to blend my artistic talents with my love for spirituality, creating works that connect deeply with the soul.

A Journey with Angels

My connection to angels came during a difficult period in my life when I struggled with depression. It was through meditation and daily calls to my angels that I began to shift my energy. They guided me through my most vulnerable moments and helped me clear the negativity that once overshadowed my life.

As I healed, I learned the power of positive thinking and the Law of Attraction, and the angels’ presence became a constant source of strength. The messages I share through my angel cards are meant to bring comfort and guidance, just as my angels did for me.

My Artistic Philosophy

Creating art is my meditation. It’s a sacred practice where I connect with Divine Inspiration and channel that energy into every piece I create. Whether I’m designing a spiritual card deck or crafting felted wool handbags, my art is my way of bringing light, love, and creativity into the world.

I believe that art has the power to heal, inspire, and transform. It’s my hope that every piece of my work—whether a card or a handbag—offers not just something beautiful to hold or display, but a deeper connection to your soul and the divine forces guiding us all.
